In October I have a month long schedule of horror movies to watch each day leading up to Halloween. I do the same for December with Christmas movies. I usually always start the month out with JATW.

Agreed regarding "A Christmas Story" when it gets played for 24 hours on Christmas. TBS cuts it to hell with so many commercial breaks. I'd rather play it from my own DVD copy. Anyway...

A Christmas Story
Home Alone
Christmas Vacation
Gremlins

No one mentioned Trading Places? That is a must every year....

Mine are...

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Bad Santa
Die Hard
Trading Places

But my wife had put it on, and since it was only just starting, I sat down to watch the first couple of minutes. Never dreamed I would watch the whole thing! But yeah, it was pretty good in a "Hallmark cheese" kind of way (thanks for that phrase, BTW). A couple nights later I watched something called The Mistletoe Promise with my wife, another enjoyable little sugarfest. After that, I'd had enough for this holiday season, and put on Die Hard ...
