Jackie isn't afraid to take it there with his stunts would love to have seen someone like tom cruise try something like that .The one thing i love about chans stunts is they're all practical not over the top
character is habitual action, we are what we do habitually.
Cruise has hung from the sides of mountains and buildings. So he's pretty out there too.

I read a while back in an article about JC that he considered this his worst (as in most terrifying) stunt of all time...not only because he damn near froze to death, but because (it said) he was terrified of water & he couldn't swim worth a darn. On one hand it seems hard to believe that JC is afraid of anything in this or any other universe, but on the other, the man is human...well, prolly more on the superhuman end of the spectrum, but too down to earth to be totally superhuman. any major star who spends a large part of a movie wearing a fuzzy baby harp seal hat (& naked in embarrassing situations) is down to earth in my book.
Tho I could've done with a few hours of the naked thing....what a bod, what a bod!
