It has been a while since I have read the book, so I do not remember all of the differences. But the movie is very good, and all of the main parts of the book are in the movie. The ending of it is rather rushed, though. Pretty much the 200 pages of the book are crammed into about 10 minutes in the movie. However, I would definitely suggest seeing the movie, it is very good!

Please, for the sake of your blood pressure - STAY AWAY from this movie!
It's like they chopped up a lovely story and pasted it back blindfolded.

It's WAY different than the book. For example, they place scenes that happen (in the book) inside and put them OUTSIDE! Also, two scenes that happen at two different times and places (in the book) are put together into one scene!
So much is cut out, and when Jane returns to Rochester, she supposed to find him at another house (in the book), but in the movie, she just goes back to Thornfield and there he is! UGH!

I absolutely HATED what they did to the story in this movie. If you've read the book and wish the movie to halfway follow the story... this ain't the one to see.
