WHOEVER WATCHES THIS MOVIE BECOMES INSTANTLY STUPID BECAUSE IT IS SO RIDICULOUSLY IDIOTIC. SHANNON ELIZABETH IS RAPED BY A SNOWMAN FOR GOD'S SAKE WHY IS THIS MOVIE SO DUMB EVERY PERSON INVOLVED IN THIS MOVIE BESIDES SHANNON ELIZABETH SHOULD BE HUNTED DOWN AND PUT ON TRIAL FOR CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY THIS MOVIE PROBABLY HAD A TOTAL BUDGET OF A WHOPPING 4 DOLLARS AND IT GENERATED LESS THEN THAT IN SALES. IN OTHER WORDS THIS MOVIE PROBABLY MADE NEGATIVE MONEY AND WHY IS IT CLASSIFIED AS A HORROR MOVIE THIS CRAP MADE ME LAUGH FOR A WHILE THEN IT FLAT OUT MADE ME WANT TO DROP A BRICK ON MYSELF WHO WOULD COME UP WITH SOMETHING THIS STUPID.

because you cant appreciate corny humor, u insult this movie... when infact, its hilarious simply cause of the fact that it mocks those movies that you were expecting to see when you rented it.. you seem to be missing the whole point of this flic..

the scene where the snowman is holding a stop sign in the middle of road... no matter how uptight u are, u must find that at least mildy humorous...

if ur expecting an oscar winner, this aint it... maybe thats why they call it a "B-movie"... ;)

Wow, you sure are a very angry person aren't you. You talk about critiquing films, and all you do is write about stupid this and stupid that and you should eat poison. You must have taken a course on film critiquing. This movie was obviously too much for you. It is NOT meant to be scary. It is meant to be freakin' funny. Look at it. How can you dispute this. Read the credits. Are they the credits of a film trying to be scary. No, they are ridiculous, as is the whole movie. You are point out plotholes in a movie which thrives on them and pokes fun at them. You are the ridiculous one sir.

The murder with the christmas tree ornaments was funny. It was supposed to be funny. This movie isn't exactly rocket science, if you can't tell it was meant to be humourous, there is something wrong with you.

"The snowman is a big fluff that magically grows arms and teleports inside a car mysteriously then puts it in reverse and has the power to slowly run over a grown man who is the dumbest *beep* cop ever because he doesn't get out of the way and good lord its a snowman in a car just turn around and walk away you stupid ass cop."

Actually, I was smiling as I read that, it *is* funny! Kinda sad you can't see the humor in something you typed up yourself, but hey, to each his own.

I came on this board to say how dumb this movie was...I was 6 years old when I would walk up and down the horro isle at video stores and I would see this cover everytime expecting it to be super scary-the cover scared the crap out of me all these years, so watching it was a bit of a disappointment; however, I can see how people would say it's funny and meant to be humoreous. The whole stop sign thing did make me laugh.
::No more remakes...get your own ideas.::

Come on, you fellas rented a movie about a killer snowman and expected Citizen Kane? It's a dumb movie, well duh. If you don't like silly/funny/stupid films then don't watch it, fine, but you don't have to insult those who do enjoy these sort of movies. Different strokes for different blokes, right?

I find these low budget stinkers quite enjoyable, their so bad they are good, I couldn't stop laughing my ass off, I also thought Jason x and Halloween Ressurection were histarically bad also, The trick to enjoying these movies is not taking them seriously.

This is definitely the dumbest "horror" film I've ever seen, but I think thats the point. Its about a serial killer who turns into a damn snowman, what did people expect it to be like. I got quite a few laughs out of it myself. Some people aren't open minded enough to relax and enjoy these stupid treasures. Sometimes there's nothing that pleases me more than watching a film that has bad acting and stupid plot and unintentionally hilarious scenes and then saying "How in the hell did that thing get made?" and following it with my own answer "I don't know, but I'm glad it did!" I wouldn't rank Jack Frost up there with the funniest b-movies, but there are some "so stupid you have to laugh" moments for sure. My favorite scene had to be when the truck hits Jack Frost into the air and he yells "I can see your house from here!" I wasn't expecting that. Rent this if your in a dumb, non-thinking frame of mind. Maybe you just want to get drunk with friends and watch something extremely stupid. Either way, Jack Frost is your ticket. Now, to rent Jack Frost 2!

Yeah, I think most of the people posting here missed the point. Yes, it was dumb, it's a comedy, not a horror movie! I mean how scared could anyone be at someone being murdered by a Christmas tree. And the villian eventually being defeated by a combination of blow dryers and antifreeze-laced oatmeal? Come on, the only lameness here is if you tried to take it seriously.

Our favorite scene is when Jack Frost goes flying through the air (don't even remember why) and he yells "I can see your house from here!" It's the punchline to an old joke so some people probably didn't get it, but it is a crackup to those who do.

The whole thing is just silly, if you are looking for a horror flick you aren't going to like this, but if you want to laugh at a movie that doesn't take itself seriously, this may be your cup of tea. The cheesy effects alone are worth a hoot, like Jack Frost being able to shoot deadly icicles to kill someone.

I saw the film for the first time last night, and I thought it was so bad, it was great!I laughed my ass off, which is what it was made for I guess. The dumbest movie ever made? I can name two, The Hulk and Solaris.

NO, shannon elizabeth did show her yum yums in 13 Ghosts, when she is getting attacked by one of the ghosts, the ghost tears through her shirt and exposes her bizongas

The only stunning thing about you is the amount garbage that seems to regurgitate from that hole you call a mouth.

It is painfully obvious that you are not critiquing the film; you seem to be just some bored/lonely person looking for attention even if it’s negative just for the sake of having your ridiculous piece of dribble read (hence the caps lock).
Vaguely amusing is how you contradict yourself after plainly stating that the movie wasn’t funny.

That was the intended effect... moron!

Well i kinda liked Scott McDonald as Jack Frost in this one. Its not that great i agree...but if a person doesnt like it , it doesnt mean that a movie is a total disaster.
