I think I've made my brother a Fairuza Balk fan...I showed this movie to him the other day and he kept saying, "she's hot...she's hot"

Wow! This is a year ago? I practically forgotten about this thread. I think I saw 3 other of her movies since: Valmont, Red Letter, & The Craft. She is still the hottest in this atrocious movie, lol.

This thread still exist? It used to be one post per year.
Too bad her role in "The Sopranos" got replaced. She will have a new film supposedly coming out this year "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans" She was also very hot in "Almost Famous", but she is still the hottest in this mess. Aissa is one tragic figure.

She was the first time I had a major attraction to a celebrity when The Craft and this came out in summer of 1996.
This movie is a hell of alot better than it's given credit for btw.

The only good thing about cher character is that she gets strangled ;]. Seriously I liked the fact she died, it made the movie darker.

Agree with the previous... her death was one of my fave scenes in the film, just because it added depth, especially since she really became less and less human there.
Having first watched the film when I was 8, it was also one of the few scenes I remembered.

In the original script, she was eaten by the dog men. Apparently the main reason Temerua Morrison wanted to make the movie was so that he could "eat pussy!"

only good thing about the movie my ass!! this film was phenoenal in every respect,a cting,
effects, emotion etc. and Fairuza was indeed very hot and fit the role perfectly.

I actually saw this film because of her. Not because of the reason you'd think. I actually have seen most of her movies and for each one, I end up liking from a 6/10 to a 10/10. This film, I thought, was going to be the break in that trend and...I like it. For an average monster movie, its a lot better than you'd expect if you research the film's back story before seeing the film (which I did).
