The end?

I saw part of this film on tv a while ago, but missed the ending. Does anybody know it? I got to the scene of Harold & Joyce in the hotel. Thanks!

the end of this film is fitting to mrs beasley, after the hotel scene, harold leaves and joins the army, yet mrs beasley bombards him with letters, asking him to come back. She "snaps" when she finds out that harold has sent joyce a birthday card. She then demands that he returns home or she will tell the police that he touched joyce. This disrupts harold's life as his has a fiance when he recieves this threat. he eventually comes back and soon as he walks through the door, he and mrs beasley are back where they started with her conning him into bed and joyce becoming more vindictive. mr beasley eventually finds out after the contstant rows that the trio have.he leaves and goes to see his sister. mrs beasley goes toh im because she is scared that she will be without any financial support (the bitch). i guess it's ok that she's away with toher blokes but she expects him to support her ? i don't think so.

anyway, afterwards, mr beasley comes home and harold has found a job as a swimming pool lifeguard. mrs beasley comes and tries to lure him back once again, he tells her no, he doesn't want her anymore, he wants a young woman, not an old granny. she retaliates by saying he likes children, like joyce.

this somehow, causes him to touch a young girl in the swimming pool, he is sacked and is now about to appear before the magistrate. he tells mrs beasley, whilst on a picnic with her and joyce, that he has had enough and he is going to tell the court everything about her, and her constant harassment. she says that they should do it one last time, as they have their backs turned, joyce sees them canoodling, she lashes out with a chopper from the car and accidently strikes her mum.

as mrs beasley is staggering from the blow, harold tries to calm the situation down, shockingly, mrs beasley grabs a knife and tries to stab harold, in an act of rage and retaliation, harold stabs her. joyce, horrified by this, tries to hti harold again, but harold stabs her too. Both mother and daughter are now dead on the green field, and to try to make it look like he did it in self defense he stabs himself.

at the end of the film, the summary reads..............

harold guppy was found guilty of the murder of joyce beasley, he was condemned to death, however due to the circumstances around his relationship with mrs beasley, this was changed to life imprisonment, the conviction of mrs beasley's murder was never brought to court.

i'd like to think that after all of the blackmail she put him through, there's a sense of revenge in that he was never convicted of her murder, owing to the fact that is was her own daughter that struck her with the chopper.

That's how it ends??? Well, I'm glad I didn't watch the whole thing.

I was watching this on the Fox Movie Channel and stopped around the part when Mrs. Beasley's husband moves in with his sister and then they're all yelling at each other. If you ask me, this movie was like porno without the nudity.

You have to bear in mind it's based on Albert Goozee's version of events which may not be uh..... entirely truthful.
As a film it's brilliant.
