Interesting but drags on and on

Broderick and Arquette are good actors, and the subject could have made for a good movie, but it just drags on and takes too long to gain momentum. My interest would sharpen when he starts explaining atoms and neutrons to his wife; it's like that. The makings are there but it lacked inspiration. I gave it a 5/10.

I agree; the movie could have been made a masterpiece. There is just too much published about Feynman that could be made into something much beyond an atypical romance story. The direction of Ron Howard's A beautiful mind, while full of flaws, is what I'd typically expect from a Feynman biographical movie. You think someone would give it a shot in the near future?

I saw a bit and was planning on buying it on DVD but then I caught the whole thing on TV and I was very dissapointed...it was sort of slow and wouldn't really capture my interest - except when they started going (somewhat half-heartedly) into physics principles...I know the movie was a romance or whatever but the man WAS a scientist...I guess I expected a little more about his work...Incorrect assumption on my part I guess.

I think the point of the movie was the love story between Feymann and his wife. Obviously, there was much more to Feymann's life as a scientist and genius, but this screenplay focused on the love story that was quite extraordinary as well. Slow moving perhaps, but very sweet and touching. Nice job by both actors.
