Best thing - alternative ending

The absolute best thing for this movie would have been if he (Tim Abell) dreamed everything from his first conversation with Stan - or some place like that - and then wake up at the end, when Lynn (Tane McClure) starts staping him with the knive. That would have been this movies ultimate surprise, and the only reason to see the movie ever again
