OT:Disney Princess line is redundant so I made a list..

There are a surprising number of wonderful female characters who don't fall into the main lead/Princess lineup. They can be sisters, mothers, wives or even the best friend who deserve to be as well known among children as their Princess counterparts.

Here are my top 10 Disney non-Princess or female non leads:
1.Esmeralda - She could be Queen(?)of the gypsies as apparently Clopin the king of the gypsies is supposed to have raised her. (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
2.Nani - Lilo's big sister who I personally relate given my relationship with my siblings (Lilo and Stitch)
3.Chicha - Pacha's wife who held her own against Yzma while heavily pregnant (The Emperor's New Groove)
4..Princess Eilonwy - I suspect not really a princess as we only have her word for it. (The Black Cauldron)
5.Sergeant Tamora Jean Calhoun- lead character of Hero's Duty video game (Wreck it Ralph)
6.Collette Tatou - Rôtisseur chef at Gusteaus. I know Pixar didn't fall under the Disney banner at the time, but she was too fantastic to pass up! (Ratatouille)
7.Captain Amelia - Furry fandom aside, she's another kickass female character (Treasure Planet)
8.Charlotte La Bouff - Technically was a princess for one night only.(The Princess and the Frog)
9.Jane Porter - Tarzan's PhD holding girlfriend (Tarzan)
10.Judy Hopps/Maid Marian - I realize the irony in choosing a female bunny and vixen as the last list but they were really compelling characters. I liked Judy Hopps determination to do what is right and Maid Marian's moving performance as Robin Hood's sweetheart.(Zootopia & Robin Hood)
