Anyone else think that Tony Jay sounds an awful lot like George Sanders?

Considering Tony voiced Shere Khan both in the animated series TaleSpin and in the theatrically-released animated film The Jungle Book 2, it's no surprise that Jay's voice would sound similar to Sanders', considering the latter voiced Shere Khan in the first Jungle Book film.
