How did Frollo know?

How did he know where Esmeralda and the other gipsy was hiding?
Quasi himself knew the place for the riddle of the necklace Esmeralda once gave him. How about Frollo? Quasi didnt tell him for all that i know

reply

He didn't know, he was bluffing. He did say to Quasi that he knew where she was, but in reality it was a trick to lead him to her, once he realised that Quasi was the one who helped her escape. So all the time that Quasi and Phoebus were travelling to the Court of Miracles, they were being followed by Frollo and his men without even knowing. That's what Frollo meant when after trapping them he said "Dear Quasimodo, I always knew you would someday be of use to me" and "why, he led me right to you my dear."

Aaah, so Frollo followed them all the way! That makes sense
Thank you for ur respond!

Even 2 years later, I don't know how the op missed the two clues that Frollo was lying, as villains are pretty clever to do this sort of thing, and do the Disney heros are clever enough to figure that the villain is lying?

reply

If you mean the Court of Miracles, he didn't he was lying or bluffing to Quasimodo that he knew where her hiding place was, when he really didn't so he trick him that way because he knew that he and Esmeralada were friends so he figured that he would go and warn her, even if it does mean leaving the bell tower. And if you also if you remember after Phoebus says "thank Quasimodo, without his help I wouldn't have found it here", and then you hear him say "nor would I" which would lead me to think that he didn't know and was lying about it to trick Quasimodo into leading him there.

reply

I agree. The "Nor would I" was obviously just being "clever".

Frollo obviously simply followed Quasi and Phoebus there.

reply

Somehow it wasn't made clear to the op that Frollo was bluffing or lying about when he said he knew where the Court of Miracles was, and if he did then why would he say "nor would I"? And another thing that villains can do, and some more then others is lie.

reply

He followed Phoebus and Quasi

reply

He =and his troops sneaky quietly followed them without making any noise or anything for the two to know that they were following them.
