What's the NAME of the song...

Hi

What's the name of the song at the end of the movie by Luis Mariano????

reply

"maman la plus belle du monde," i believe?

It's called "Maman, c'est toi la plus belle du monde." It was made in 1950. If you want, I can give you the French/English lyrics.

We just finished Le Huitieme Jour in my French class. Our teacher is obsessed with music so she printed that song off. :o)

desgraciado, you were very close.

Odds, bobs, hammer and tongs, I'm burning.

Do you have the song? I can't find it anywhere

reply

I don't have it with me, sorry. And I'm not sure where you could find it on the internet. My guess, Amazon for the soundtrack maybe? Either that, or just buy the movie. : )

Actually i'm pretty sure the song is called "maman la plus belle du monde," although he does sing "maman c'est toi..." It doesn't matter. it's a great song

I have one question for our belgian or french fellows (or any people who could answer it).
Luis Mariano really used to wear those ultra-stylized and "colorful" charro (mexican cowboy) outfits?
Or it's only how Georges imagined him?
Sorry if that question sounds a bit silly, but I've never seen Luis Mariano. Not even in still pictures.
BTW was he mexican, spaniard, cuban, from another latin-american country? His name is hispanic. Albeit it might be only his artistic name.

Are you new on the internet or something?
Using google is easier than asking this question on a forum...
