Could also be a Maremma Sheepdog, Pyrenean Mountain Dog, or an Akbash. They are all very similar looking animals.

Wow...I can't believe it was that long ago xD), I said to myself, "She's either a Kuvasz or a Maremma Sheepdog." I thought it was Kuvasz, especially considering that one of those would probably have been much easier to obtain. Sure enough, I came across an ad in the back of an old Dog Fancy issue for a Kuvasz breeder who advertised that they'd bred "'Delilah' from Disney's 'Homeward Bound 2.'" So that confirmed it. ;-)

Actually Shadow was played by Cecil the Lion, Chance is a leopard with leprosy, and Sassy is a Calico. Pate is played by Harambe and Ashcan is a cougar. Delilah is a chihuahua. Riley is a bear, Sledge is a bobcat. Spike is a rabbit, Bando is a Bull terrier, Scruffy is also a giant house cat. The three broadcaster dogs at the beginning are a jaguar, a cheetah, and a wolf. Jamie, Hope, and Peter are animated by the way.
