This movie was one of my favorites as a child!
I loved the Movie very much, from the start to the end.
Anne Bancroft played her roll so well. The Kid also of course.
The movie was good, but I thought it felt incomplete because it left out a lot. The books were unforgettable. Have you read the series?

shareThe books are great. I first starting reading them when I was in 8th grade and still have read them now and again, even though that was a loooong time ago. :) Books as good as they are deserve to be read over and over and shouldn't limited to the intended audience.
I'd recommend reading them in a certain order, though.
