CAN'T BELIEVE NO ONE HAS MENTIONED

How did Keitel's character know so much about the house? I mean he knew that the methanol was in the blue bottle in the shed..IT'S NOT EVEN HIS PLACE! ITS HER PLACE! SHE SHOULD KNOW ALL THAT STUFF. THATS WHAT PISSED ME OFF ABOUT THE WHOLE MOVIE, WAS HIM KNOWING THIS AND THAT ABOOUT HER OWN PLACE. (VACATION PLACE) EXCUSE ME!

I always thought it was his house, because he walked around it like he owned it. So yeah you are right. Maybe it just shows how crazy his character is, how he wants to make everything his own.

Exactly what the above says. They definitely seem to spend a lot of time there. His character strikes me as the type who has to have everything where/the way that he wants it.

It's her family's vacation home, but I can definitely buy his type moving things around where he wants them.

I didn't catch the beginning. Did they establish that this was his first time to the house?

How long were they married?

I thought they were married and the house belonged to the both of them.

The house seemed to be set up the way the judge likes it
