Pure Sun or Prairie Sun?

What do YOU think?

reply

You might not believe it because he says it kind of fast, but it's actually "pretty sun"...

reply

"purdy Sun" = pretty Sun

reply

you guys are crazy. get yourself to a prairie and feel the sun. then you'll know.

reply

It is obviously prairie sun. There is no way he says pure, pretty, or even purdy.

Now I shall go and eat an orange or maybe a snicker.

reply

Pure sun. He says "pure sun". He doesn't want to be under the tent. That candy killed him.

reply

Pure Sun!

reply

PURE Sun. I've never even considered it as being anything else. Longview isn't on a prairie. Some folks in the rural south have a trickier accent, I noticed this a lot in Louisiana especially.

That's gonna be most of Ronald's problem right there, people not understanding what he's sayin'. Hey, Pure Sun, pretty sunny day...let's GO for it!

reply

Living in Texas, I can tell you that "pur sun" means "pure sun."
Just remeber, truck make money and ladie friends are good for buying shoes.

reply

I am southern, and I heard "purdy (meaning pretty) sun."

reply

"Prairie Sun" would make no sense because Longview is in the Piney Woods of East Texas. He is almost certainly saying "Pure Sun"... maybe "Purdy (pretty) Sun."
