The production company that made 'Guy' (Polygram Filmed Entertainment) went bust not long after 'Guy' was finished. I understand there was a UK PAL videotape released but I've never seen an NTSC version for the USA.
My copy of 'Guy' is on a VCD from Asia (it's a legit release) and there's no freaking way I'd part with it (not even if VD'O himself asked me for it and promised me whatever I wanted). The only way I'd part with it is in exchange for a legitimately released R1 DVD. Lord only knows who owns the US video rights to 'Guy' now but someone could make a fortune if he/she would buy them and release 'Guy' on DVD in R1 (not to mention all the other regions).

Hi, that E-Bay DVD is a bad bootleg! Very grainyy and garbled in places.

yeah and guess who found this thread AFTER I won a bid for a DVD of this movie? I wasted ALOT of money on a not very good BOOTLEG copy, taped from the Sundance channel. I can't pause it because it won't start again - can't forward or reverse it either. I get the gist of the story, though - quite compelling. I suppose I didn't need to have the picture pefect. I was drawn in to and appalled by the story all the same.

I got it copied from Sundance - good quality on burnt DVD. I mean, the quality is better than the original DVD of Bark!, if you know what I mean. If anybody wants a copy, e-mail me at [email protected] with an offering price including shipping.
