Mark Kermode thinks very highly of this one.

Mark Kermode, the famous film UK critic, says this is the best muscial biopic during one of his podcasts.

He likes musical biopics to have genuine singing in them, like Walk The Line, as opposed to dubbing, like in La Vie En Rose. He said out of all the musical biopics he's seen, this one was peerless.

I love Douglas' performance in this.
