asian food cinema?
Would be great to see more gastronomic-themed movies, so far I found japanese film "Udon" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780167/) and this. I really enjoy watching the preparation of asian food:) any ideas?

shareDid you see the 1985 film Tampopo? It's a "noodle western".
sharethanks mate! haven't seen it, but sounds great! hopefully I can find it! greetings!
shareDEFINATELY Taiwanese "Eat Drink Man Woman" by Oscar winning director Ang Lee. It should be available at your local blockbuster.
I know you didn't ask but for GREAT Asian horrors try Korean "A Tale of Two Sisters" and Thai "SHUTTER".
Don't miss these movies, it's better and more unique than anything out there these days =)
thanks to you too! I've seen Tale of Two Sisters many years ago, impressive movie (the music was amazing too!), but Shutter is new to me, thanks for the suggestion!
thanks again for recommending it, whacky little flick, and a strange homage to western! cool stuff
shareI highly recommend "The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover": http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0097108/
