needed more scenes of the lions attacking the camps

I like this movie but it felt rushed and felt like a lot of scenes were removed. Probably the main thing it was missing were scenes of lions actually breaking through the bomas and dragging workers away and more scenes of the lions stalking people at night. We hear about them but don't really see it.

I agree. I LOVE this film but it could have benefited a lot from some more lion attack scenes and little more character development. The film needed to be a bit longer.

But I believe in an interview the director said that the reason the film feels rushed is because about 45 minutes of footage (some of lion attacks) was cut from the film by the order of exec producer and star Michael Douglas. I really wish they release a director's cut of this movie!

"I'm the dude, playing a dude that's disguised as another dude".

Well to be fair, it's like Jaws, if you saw more of the shark, it loses its mystery and sense of threat
