Who else agreed with Rick, the white driver?

When the bus stopped in Memphis and he got off to go to Graceland. I totally agreed with him and I felt that Charles S Dutton's character was way out of line and dare I say, rather ignorant for taking offense to Rick's choice and then the remarks he made regarding. I didn't understand why Rick didn't just trade places with the original driver and stayed with the bus, while the black driver, who actually wanted to go, continued to drive to D.C but I guess that would have destroyed a piece of the plot.

The exchange between Belzer and the gay guy explains it. Despite the atrocities Jews have faced, they are nothing compared to what black people went through in America. Belzer's character didn't like hearing that, didn't like losing the argument and being taken to school, so he ran home and cried like a baby. Some of his lines suggested that he thought the passengers would all be uneducated. Being intellectually outmatched by one of the black guys hurt his ego.
