I brought this movie at Midtown comics in manhattan and there are all kinds of swears and other things that i cant believe would make the tv movie. I taped it when it originally aired but lost it so i cant compare the two. Does anyone have any insight?
Example: After Jubilee goes into the dream world she talks about it with "Skin" and says "I *beep* *beep* myself". There are also alot of remarks about masterbation.
Yes, I do. I taped it when it first aired, and bought a DVD on eBay. Upon watching the DVD, I did in fact find cursing. When I watched the tape of the original airing, that scene wasn't even there. Then, at the carnival, when Jubilee tells Refrax he's an a$$hole, but in the TV version, if I remember correctly, she says "pond scum" instead. That's the only difference, as far as I can tell, but there could be more, as I've only watched the DVD once. Like I said, I got my DVD on eBay for $12, including shipping. I'd reccomend you get one, too.
shareIt's actually the UK version that has the cursing... the version that appeared on american TV didn't have any cursing (see alternate versions on the IMDB menu).
shareThere are a lot more differences. Like I'm pretty sure refrax didn't tell buff she had a nice beaver in the US version.
UK TV is awesome apparently.
