Guess it probably aired on Showtime once and never again? Interesting how many good films are made and never heard of again. This has a very good cast too!!?!? Good story. and yes, a cute young blond flat-top Josh Brolin.

I agree regarding how short the message board is on this surprisingly good movie. Racism is alive and well in all major U.S. cities. The color of a person's skin does matter and in the Gang of Blue we see how racism can wear a badge and go unchecked. I thought Stephen Lang's character was very powerful. Although this movie was produced in the mid 90s it's still very relevant today.

I disagree. The only reason I watched this was because it had Brolin in it, who did such a great job in No Country for Old Men.

This movie was flat out-horrible. The acting was decent at best, for very few of the actors (the veteran actors like the police chiefs). Story was not only unbelievable, but stupid too. It reminds me of the old Black Pride movies such as Black Caesar and such.

Don't get me wrong I am white American but I am not racist towards anyone! I have plenty of friends of every race mostly due to where I grew up. This movie would give black producers a bad name if it was more publicized.

And at the end, that whole message was just BS. Yes we would like you to know there are people (most definitely CONVICTED people) who've been battling with racist police (FILING charges against cops because they're FELONS) in these cities: New York (most populated city in the country... No doubt there are charges there being filed against police, common knowledge), Philadelphia (same thing), etc.

Racism is still out there but it goes both ways. Either way it sucks and we shouldn't have to put up with it. Had it been worked on better, could have been a B movie at best.
