Maybe I missed something but why Ray look like crap only a few days after dying (he looks like he is melting) but others like the Judge or the Sarge in the cemetery look perfectly fine after all that time, The Judge even metions that his ectoplasm is dry and he's falling apart, but he doesn't look like he is melting, and the sarge looks perfectly fine.

The sarge probably looks perfectly fine because he's like a Gatekeeper for the higher powers. He was supposed be the Gatekeepers' assistant but that was dropped.
Ray's not melting just leaking ectoplasm same as Stuart and Cyrus. The judge has all dried up of ectoplasm and is decaying.
See if you bastards can do 90
