Yeah, I can see Michael J. Fox, with his parkinson's, working on a sequel to this movie.

Yes, because it has to star Michael J. Fox, you knob end.

Probly if didn't have that a 2nd part would have been nice.

I would pay to see the sequel. Underrated movie ;)

Yes I also think the same too. this movie is great. it should have a 2nd part.

I think a remake is far more plausible. If they came out with a sequel, most everyone would be like "Frighteners 2? When was there ever a Frighteners 1? Plus this movie seemed to really push the limits of special effects when it was released and it could possibly be done better now given technological advances. Not to say that it wasn't very well done in 96, but it's a great story, and once a couple decades have passed and a great film is somewhat forgotten, it's about time for Hollywood to rehash the story.

reply

Yes, probably a remake.

He's nothing next to Bart Taylor.

I think a TV series on Hulu or Netflix would be interesting. I don't want a straight up Remake. Watching the same story with a different actor would feel pointless.

I remember hearing Peter Jackson saying in an interview one time. He was considering doing a sequel to The Frighteners.

It doesn't have to cast M J Fox again... it can always be someone new to have the same abilities.
