its the only movie i remember being "movie of the day" like 3 seperate times in 1 year, and it shows up as a recomendation on nearly every movie...
i mean, i dont disagree, i love the movie too! so its a good thing.
the writer/director matthew bright is extremely underrated, check out more of his movies.
this film kind of feels like a wild, crazy, and disturbing Larry Clark film. aren't they all. but really this film has a kind of Bully aesthetic and grit and grim, and filthy feel and also a little hardcore, teens doing really bad things, out of control, Kids feel. don't you think?
