And yes I've seen Freeway 2. But I want a sequel to this story. With Vanessa Lutz many years later. And with Matthew Bright at the helm. He never really made another good movie and, to me, this is Reese's best performance. I would love to see her expand on it.

Freeway is still my favourite Reese Witherspoon movie next to Sweet Home Alabama but I heard she was supposed to be in the original sequel but she turned the role down and they had to rewrite the entire movie so I am not sure if she would be willing to play the role of Vanessa again all these years later.

I'm perfectly fine with the sequel we got even though it's a stand alone. What else could happen with Vanessa Lutz? Bob is dead and she was probably cleared of any wrong doing by the police. I'd like to see a Freeway 3 take on another grimm's fairy tale with a new cast at this point. It would make a nice trilogy of films!
