Oh Man, the ending of the this flick was saddening, especially after Skynyrd is cranking out Free Bird and you know that the plane crash is soon. I wasn't sure if it was after this last performance, but the concert footage captures the beauty and essence of this incredible band. Ronnie Van Zant is easily one of the top vocalists in rock history, one hell of a legend.

I totally love the lead up to the song. Seeing the crowd go bananas then seeing their reaction during the song. Although I wish they'd showed more of the band jamming and less of sunburned chicks in the audience.
Everyone in the band was on fire the whole movie.

"Freebird" is without a doubt the greatest live rock and roll song ever recorded, and to see Skynyrd play it is incredible. Yeah, the camera got a little happy with audience but ya gotta admit, those California girls smoked those English chicks at the Knebworth concert. ;-)
