Parallels with LotR anyone?

I have just watched Forgotten Silver for the first time and enjoyed it hugely.
It is very very funny and quite apparent it is a hoax.

What struck me is the "irony" was what PJ was going to be doing in the next few years,
ie. spend years trying to get his epic finished
have hassles with international "mafia" backers
have huge sets built in the middle of nowhere- "three days tramp from Hokitika" ha ha
working for 72 hours straight to get the film finished
film with thousands of extras
get rained out or be unable to film due to extreme bad weather- the Queenstown floods
have a "behind the scenes shoot" happening on both films
"Salome" becoming "Rosie Cotton"
Colin getting his "epic" edited down from 4 hours long to 3 hours long!! Return of the King anyone? ha ha And Harvey Weinstein saying it all with a straight face!


Peter and Costa must have had a flash of prophecy I think!!
