Absolutely...beauti ful (SPOILERS)

how else do you describe a movie, nay, FILM of this magnitude. Only the tandem of Chuck Norris' flawless acting and Aaron Norris' impeccable directing could have brought this incredible story of friendship, struggle to protect natural resources, and love for mother earth to life. The cast is brilliantly chosen, no one but Chuck himself could have pulled off the character of McKenna, the mountain-man/indian spirit protecting the wild life in Tanglewood. McKenna is quite powerful, assuming the forms of an Eagle, Bear, and Wolf. He shows a deep caring for all things living in his forest and has tremendous character development. And who can forget that lovable little bear cub, Rags...as he gets into mischief in the forest, frolicking to and fro, chasing butterflies, sniffing toads, falling off logs into the water, getting tangled up in toilet paper, and playing with the children. This movie also opens one's eyes as to how evil lumberjacking companies are. They really are out to get trees, their slogan "wood! wood! wood!" and sayings such as "Let's just cut these trees down," show how heartless the lumberjacks in this movie are. However, they did show their better side when they used their tools in a rock 'n roll montage, because come on, lumberjacks need to have fun too! This movie also introduces the world to the brilliant, aspiring actress, Meghan Paul. Talk about a stand-out performance in her first role. She was the "tomboy" of the group of 5 (the other 4 being boys) and may or may not have been a lesbian. We still haven't confirmed this. Also, I believe Boondock Saints ripped off a scene from this movie...when the young lad fell on the rock in the river and had to be restrained as they sprayed ointment on him reminds one of the iron-usage in Boondock Saints. Overall this movie is an extremely entertaining piece that will give you an enjoyable 1 hour and 40 minutes. I would highly recommend it to people of all ages. My Rating 10/10.

Thanks for the review. On your recommendation, I intend to watch this film Friday night along with Cannibal Holocaust. I'm told it's a moving travelogue about the people and customs of the lush and beautiful Amazon. Sounds like it will make an excellent complement.

Cheers
