not that bad a film

User comments give this film a horrible rating. However, it wasn't too bad, in fact I found it fairly entertaining.

Gene Mitchell who wrote and directed the film also stars in the film playing "Shot". He's very funny and steals many of the scenes.

Now it's kind of a Pulp Fiction, Resevoir Dogs rip-off, but who cares, it works.

Check it out, you'll probably like it. Nice work Gene.

I Agree! Kinda Frikkin' Weird but, I liked it... I thought David Proval was great as usual and of course Keith David... but, David Amos was pretty darn impressive for once...

Well, it wasn't much of a stretch for Amos, after all. In real life he flipped on his boss Michael Woods and they were both convicted of murdering Woods' business partner Horace McKenna.

I do not have attention deficit disor...Ooh, look at the bunny!

I probably would have liked this movie a lot better if the scenes were lit enough to tell who was talking.

As dark as most scenes were, the idiot director thought having totally dark scenes would be a contrast.

I don't know if any of the actors were any good. I couldn't see them, but the director should be shot.

Director should be shot?...Not sure if that's deliberate play on words or amusing coincidence, the director was Gene Mitchell who also played "Shot" in the movie.

Found this movie strangely compelling in a train wreck sort of way, so bad in spots it definitely rates for high camp. Keith David very credible performance as Leo, not a bad job on the wedding song "Watching Me Watching You" either. David Amos also convincing as a thug, no wonder... Decent portrayal of the seamy side of LA, I think that's where Mitchell was going with the dark scenes, a stark contrast of the usual palm trees and sunshine we see of Southern CA.
