shareI know this one - 'cause we actually got to swim with these dolphins in the Bahamas over spring break a couple of weeks ago!
"In 1996, Dolphin Encounters was chosen by Universal Studios to help produce the movie "Flipper" starring Paul Hogan and Elijah Wood. The company provided three dolphins - Fatman, Jake & McGyver - to play the famous aquatic star, and two trainers for a period of five months. The movie was filmed in the Bahamas, near Clifton Pier in Nassau, on the western side of New Providence. "

I just got back from Nassau, Bahamas last weekend where we went to Blue Lagoon Island to swim with the Dolphins, and we had a Dolphin names "SHAWN" who we were told was one of the 'two' dolphins who played Flipper in the movie. Sean was male, and there was a female Dolphin (I forgot her name) as well.
I guess whoever we had that day got the stories mixed up because on the website it says Shawn was in the Olsen's movie.
Grrr...here i thought i was swimming with a real celebrity!
