Movie wasn't bad, but...

My god why can't they never make a realistic movie.... a sedan with 3 or 4(?) people in it, following a Ducati motorcycle on the goddamn freeway?

In real life the bike is out of sight by the time the sedan hits 60mph, get real for gods sake.

this movie has one of the worse lines in any movie where it involves the title of the film

"cmon Dodge, gotta fled'

that doesn't even qualify as a sentance that makes sense, absolutely retarded.

Other than that, i liked the movie a lot when i was younger, it's next to impossible to find on DVD these days though.

"I Got These Cheeseburgers Man ..."

lets fled!!!!

I remember seeing the preview for that and laughing when the title came onscreen as FLED!!!!!

why didn't they just call the movie Flee! or Escape or Run (i know there's already a movie called that) or i don't know, any synonymn of getting away you can think of. Why Fled??? i guess the director thought it would be too funny if their characters said Yo Lets Flee!!!! Yo we gotta Flee-- yo we outtaflee. oh nevermind.

(i laughed twice as hard when i caught the preview for Bats some years later--they actually called the movie BATS and had it backwards and upside down so it looked like it was called Stab until the announcer said Bats! coming soon. I slapped my head so hard my friend turned to me and said I felt that! Bats. still better then Fled.)

Flee?? That sounds girlish. Flee sounds like a good name for a broadway musical.

Fled sounds cool. It's just slang.

One thing that irritates me about imdb boards it's the "looks like" topics. Never even close.

I know! I never understood that either.

I saw on the main page the review talking about realism, and again with this post, so I chose to reply to the whole thing in general. Taking it a bit too seriously I think.

Realism in movies is good, sometimes. I love realism in war movies or in movies based of real events. But in movies like this, realism would be boring. It's alot cooler when it's unrealistic. Sometimes it's corny and I guess everyone has their own taste in corniness but I enjoyed this movie. Mainly the banter between the main characters, I didn't care much for the guns or the shooting, who takes that stuff seriously in Hollywood movies anyway? Maybe I've become desensitised to it or something. You know nothing bad is going to happen to them, you know they aren't going to die.. it's just a background for the characters to have some dialogue in the dangerous situations.

If you go into these movies, not expecting any realism, it's far easier to enjoy. For me anyway. I don't think it's a classic movie but it's enjoyable and I am glad I saw it. 6/10 or so. If I am flicking channels and see it on, I am happy. It's just a bit of fun.

I just had a quick look at the quotes section, and it's pretty empty. I thought this movie had alot more funny quotes then what is listed.
