Book v Movie

Has anyone read the book? It's really different to the film. It has the same basic plot (3 ex-wives) but the characters are very different. I think the film is better though, in the book they're all lazy millionares and I dont have any sympathy for them. Anyway, just my opinion

The book is heinous. It was the first book made into a movie that I've ever read in my whole life that I can say is worse than the movie. It tries to be sharp and edgy and just comes across as pathetic and crass. I love this movie. Although the book Sex and the City is pretty bad compared to the show, it's still good as a standalone. First Wives Club is not worth the energy.

Wow! I loved the book, and I haven't seen the movie, but I want to. The thing I like about the book is that it focuses on so many different characters, both "good" and "evil." I have a hunch the movie only focuses on the 3 wives.

The First Wives Club is my favourite movie and my favourite book (next to Grease and The Piano Man's Daughter). I love that the book is different from the movie. And the fact that a lot of my favourite actresses are in the movie doesn't hurt!

I preferred the book since it had bettes character as the lesbien and the daughter was actually suffering from downs syndrome, it would have been better in my opinion
