Cynthia

Well, Cynthia is more pissed off than teary-eyed at her husband & his new young wife. She is in her very expensive apartment bedroom drinking with New York newspapers addressing the topic of her husband & new wife.She is writing letters to all the other "wifes". Maid comes in she gives her the pearls that the other "wifes" have. (it was a gift at college graduation--she gave them all pearls) & asks the maid to mail the letters she has just finished writing. Cynthia goes out on the balcony sees one of her neighbors ( young woman on a stairmaster) they smile at each other. That's it. Diane Keaton's voiceover says "When Cynthia made up her mind to do something--she just did it".
