the true tragic ending not shown...

...as the girls sing themselves silly, dancing down the middle of the street. back in the newly built crisis center, several beautiful yet inherently flawed candle-in-paper bag centerpieces erupt into flame... burning everything to the ground... the call is made to a local fire dept.. and as the truck flies around the corner, sirens wailing, the girls still singing themselves hoarse in the middle of the street and not paying attention, are all creamed and tossed into the gutter... yet again..

tragic tragic irony.

Too funny! I never did quite "get" the ending of the movie anyway...thought it could have been much stronger, better. But the firetrucks rushing to the crisis center--lol!

Yeah I thought it was weird too...

The women just leave the crisis centre's doors unlocked and the lights on etc and yet they all head off home? wtf...

I always thought it would be funny if one of them (or maybe all of them) got hit by a car while they were just dancing down the middle of a street in NYC. lol

its probably a song they used to sing in college hence the "you remembered" by bette midler when it starts however because now their friend is dead there is only three of them but they sing it in memory of their friend.

Because more than likely the cleaning crew and caterers were in the back - did you really think they were gonna clean the place up themseleves. Also it's just a movie - enjoy it
