Help with the end

I watched this with a bunch of people and dont' know exactly what happened, mainly the dialogue in the climactic revenge scenes:

Bette Midler and Dan Hedaya are in the meat locker and she shows that she knows he was selling hot property. Does she blackmail him with that? What does she get out of the situation?

What happened with Victor Garber and Goldie Hawn? She gives him 50 cents and then they're talking about something...

And I dont' even remember any resolution with Diane Keaton and her husband.

I do know that all three husbands help build the Women's Crisis Center or whatever, but those particular three things were lost to me. Any help?

Not only was he dealing it hot property, he had defrauded the IRS on his income taxes. She blackmailed him by saying she was going to turn his books in to the Feds. . . . . I must mention that in the movie, unlike the book, Dan's character "comes to his senses" and gets back together with Bette's.

According to the exact wording of their divorce decree, Goldie Hawn was to sell hers and Victor Garber's community property for what she felt was a "reasonable price" and give half the proceeds to Victor. She decided to sell all of the property to Diane Keaton's character for exactly $1 (who then sold it at auction for millions in order to get the money to buy out HER ex-husband's business partners and thus put him under her control). Goldie gave 50 cents to her ex husband and then revealed that his new girlfriend was actually 16 years old, making him guilty of statutory rape.

Hope this helps!

to add to this...if I'm not mistaken, it's Morty's GF Shelley who buys much of the stuff at auction (with Morty's money).

Thanks both of you. Yea, it was loud and on tv so I couldn't go back and figure out what was going on in those scenes.

That helps a lot.
