LOL Might as well put this in the adult section (if they had one). I could not believe what I was seeing, and this is why I watched it because the story line, acting, and efects were terrible. I saw coochies and everything. Is Femalien II this entertaining?

It was a joke. The movie has a alot of nude and sex scenese that you usually do not find at blockbuster.
shareyeah. Seriously, I don't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that I found it...and rented it while only 15 at the time, ka-ching! But seriously, the whole time I was like "Are they really doing it? Is she just licking the inside of that girl's leg? Why am I bothering to watch this?"
shareThis is one of those flicks that should have been made in two versions: a full-blown hardcore no-holds-barred porno/sex-comedy and an edited sanitized version. I see a "Director's Cut" is referenced. I wonder how close that got to real porn? Because it's in somewhere in between in adult film No Man's Land I found a lot of it snooze inducing -- most of the "scenes" go on too long for the amount of real action generated. But my oldest son (in his teens) thought it was tremendous...it's just right for his age when looking for a bit of risque entertainment on a Saturday night. Which this provides in spades, being stuffed full of a parade of extraordinarily beautiful women with great figures (and very buff guys). The stunningly gorgeous lead actress (the "femalien" named Kara) was very funny in a deadpan way, and clearly had a bit more to offer than just her marvelous figure.

I purchased this VHS movie at a close out sale and I believe it was a Blockbuster tape. At any rate, the VHS box is clearly "Edited Version" and the "movie" runs 72 mins, although 90 mins. is indicated. The nudity is only above the waist.
I have noted other films releasing edited versions, to get by the Blockbuster censors. Am I outraged. No. I would have preferred Blockbuster to have stocked a wider variety of films over the years. I would have perferred Blockbuster to have stocked some full frame DVDs for us folks with the old standard TVs. I don't go there anymore.
The copy I rented at Blockbuster was the full-throttle unrated version which was one shadow-covering short of being hardcore porn. But while Blockbuster rents unrated videos with borderline porn content, it prohibits excellent works like Bad Lieutenant and Henry and June because of the NC-17 ratings. I gave up on Blockbuster a year ago, and went back to my favorite Mom 'n' Pop store. Everything you want, from Disney to Hardcore porn. Which, incidentally, is the section they keep their copy of Femalien, away from curious kids's eyes. No hypocrites here!

They do carry softcore porn, like Femalien as long as it's unrated. They even carried the R-rated cut of the hardcore porn film Pirates. But Bad Lieutenant with its NC-17 rating? Forget it.
