Tilda cannot make a film alone

I just saw the thing. I know it was made with good intentions, but I don't know whose head decided that they can make a film with only one actress, however great she may be, and no decent director, script, cinematographer and ... well, other actors. I give Tilda credit that she tried to do what she could and really committed to the project, but this only underlined the whole weakness of the idea and the execution. I got the feeling that all the people involved were really scared while making the film, never got far enough with their ideas and the result was not a feminist statement, but rather the most humiliating display of women ever. Pity.

Sure she can. Tilda Swinton is a great actress, and she was the sole reason to see the film. I've seen it three times. But for her, I doubt I could have got through it once. I'm even more confused at the end of three viewings than I was at the first viewing.

I agree with your post. this is simply for me at least bad movie script. I also agree Tilda Is a very good actress, but i will risk being put down about what i have noticed about this actress. I would like to see her in more movies where her sexuality Is not such a big factor. [It's not like I don't like it]Maybe in a female heroine role or something different then what most of her work has been. I too found this movie confusing as did most viewers, that being said the film makers definitely missed there mark.

So you're saying Frances Fisher, Amy Madigan, Karen Sillas and Clancy Brown can't act? Interesting?

I've never seen a bad review of their acting, not to say there aren't any but everything I've those actors in even the bad films their performances were always good. Ms. Madigan has been nominated for several awards including and Oscar, and a Golden Globe which I believe she won at least one Golden Globe, and i believe she has won an Emmy as well.

As for Fischer, Sillas and Clancy they're performances have always been solid in all their projects.

I remember when this film came out Sillas had another independent film out called "Flirt" and she received praise for that role as well. Not to mention her performance in "What Happened Was...".
