I am looking at the various DVD offerings and find the information available online a bit confusing. Is anyone, who has a DVD of this movie, able to confirm the runtime? IMDB lists 119 minutes, though Amazon has the UK version at 109 minutes, the "Uncut" German version at 90 minutes, and no runtime listed at all for the R1 version. I have an all region player, so the region coding isn't a big factor for me. I would simply like the most complete version, which is apparently 119 minutes.

I was wondering about that as well. My copy cuts off at 104 minutes during the scene where Eve and Ed are climbing on the rocks. Seems like a strange place for it to end.

I checked the runtime of the version I just got and it is 1:45:11, or 106 minutes. I received it in a trade, so I'm not sure what the source is, but the image is very good, albeit in full frame, so I think it's copied from the dvd.

But I'd like to know what the hell is up with these different reported running times for this film? I've seen it listed as running at 119, 115, and 114 minutes, but I've found no source that lists a shortened version...yet that is what everyone seems to be watching!

Can someone, anyone, please confirm they have this on disc, tape, or a stream and that it does indeed run close to 119 minutes?? Thanks.

I don't know if there is really a 119/120 minute version or not. IMDB currently lists it as 120. I've got it on Vudu and it runs 114 minutes. Seems complete, but its been years since I first saw this on VHS, so I can't be sure. I'm not able to find any released version with a 120 or 119 minute run time.

The 109 minute runtime may be omitting the credits as that is right where the movie ended in my 114 minute version.
