This movie reminded me a lot of Fargo.

Okay, aside from the love factor and the "happy" ending, but it really did remind me a lot of Fargo. I don't know if it was the acting, or the filmography, or just that everything starts to fall apart. Actually, scratch the acting idea, b/c the acting in Fargo was way better. Did it remind anyone else of Fargo?

I think I know what you mean; for me, there's this..."coldness" from all the senseless deaths in Fargo that are echoed in Feeling Minnesota, especially by the selfish and callous way in which D'Onofrio's character seems to regard...well, pretty much everybody else.

Interestingly, both films were released in 1996. Hmmm!
