2nd time

Watched this a second time with my mother and we both agree that this film is weird.

I liked it a bit more than last time I saw it. Feels empty and oddly comedic.

It’s hard to like it its full potential when the real story can’t be verified to the public. Because it’s easy to think the plot of this film is all fiction.

Wow, you are a complete idiot. "Oddly comedic"...it's a fucking dark comedy, buffoon. And it wasn't ever supposed to be based on a true story. It is all fiction. Brilliant.

reply

Hardly anything dark or comedic about this. Film is an objective four/five of ten. Your last point makes the film even more stupid. Ugly dialect isn't humor. People who have the need to curse to make a point are dumb, even more so if it's in writing. I'm embarrassed for you.

reply

Hahaha, if it was an OBJECTIVE 4 or 5 out of ten, then wouldn't that be its rating? Yet, hm, it seems to be an 8.1 at the moment. Look up the word objective, idiot. Sorry if my language offends you; I guess "dainty" is a pretty apt name for ya.

reply

Film Affinity. Imdb and RT are not objective ratings because people have low standards in general.

reply

So which sites share your obviously correct, objective opinion?

So nice of you to gently correct the poster that the "true story" text at the start is
in fact fictitious, in nice way so they dont feel silly.
Some other keyboard warrior asshole types would have just jumped on that and unloaded with a stream of personal insults.

I wasn't going to say anything at all, but checked out some of his other posts, and this person is a true piece of scum.

reply

How can you be so affected by someone on a film forum? That's hypersensitive.

reply

So I guess that's the point we've reached, folks. If someone were to take offense at being called a "complete idiot" and "buffoon," they'd be at fault for being hypersensitive. No less than the person who was called these things (!) says so. It's a film forum, after all, s/he points out, making it presumably okay to interact in this way.

I fear for our society. Can there be any recovery from standards sunk to such depth?
