Chicago?

As someone who lives and works around Chicago (musician), I am really surprised that the filmmakers seem to have decided that everyone in that town is black. Now, I really like the move, but come on... all black people downtown in the middle of the day? Only black people in the jazz club and on the street? One of the things I love about Chicago is that everyone is pretty much accepted everywhere. Oh, sure, there are a few parts of town where I'm not welcome, but those are pretty rare. And that club, The Green Mill, I've played there dozens of times, and it doesn't matter who is playing there, it's always a great mix of cultures. Good beer, too.

One more thing, for a PG-13, they sure said the "F" word a lot.

"I thought you was dead" - "Not hardly"

Another Chicagoan here. Bear in mind that this is a work of fiction. It's not meant to represent the true Chicago to a T. I saw some white people in The Green Mill and on the street.
