The Cold One

I read this book and thought it was incredible. Does anyone know if he's coming out with the sequel that was promised at the end of the book?

I was and I guess still am a devoted Christopher Pike Fan. I have been upset by this desire to change things in the process.

1. Writing the Cold One, and promising at the end, The Seedling. It never came. It probably never will come. The Cold One itself is a great read, and is worth reading without a sequel though.

2. Tales of Terror was written in the idea that there would be a third installment. That never came, and again, probably never will.

3. Writing the Alosha "Series" as a trilogy. I purchased these books as they came out, but didn't read them, as I knew they were a trilogy, and didn't want to wait 6 months to a year in between to find out what was going to happen. When you get to the end of the third book - The Yanti, you find that there will be a fourth book - Yemi (no longer a trilogy).. and how knows how many more after that. Alosha still, on its own a great read, but there are still those small ends you want tied up.

These things have made me frustrated with Christopher Pike, and while I used to love his books, and still do, doing all this has made me not want to be a fan.
