Ebert Gave this Five Stars and Called It One of Woody's Best

In a controversial review, Roger Ebert gushed over this movie for the same reasons I do. Woody Allen succeeded in doing a modern musical without the lavish dance numbers and the over powering voices. Just simple so-so singers bursting into song because they are happy - and it works!
