How did Aurora SPOILERS

Exactly what was the cause of Aurora's death? Was it a stroke? I couldn't figure it out.

Complications after the stroke, I believe.

She had a stroke? It's been forever since I've seen this movie and it's on Epix right now so I'm watching it. I started about half way in when Hector died at the Diner and right now I am at Jack Nicholson's cameo.
I don't remember the stroke though so I will have to watch this until the end.
I love this movie though!

I just watched the movie and from the way she was holding her left hand and clutching at her throat, I took it to have been a heart attack. They never say either way. Though she was speaking with her lips barely moving, I think she was just weak after the heart attack and then a year later died. IMHO.
