Woah, it just got into top 250 movies. It's at #127 position now. Do you think it deserves that position? I haven't seen it yet.

I have to say that it's an old, low budget Turkish movie. As a Turk, i loved it and you cannot find anyone in Turkey that doesn't love that movie. BUT, i have doubts that you'll enjoy the movie. It has a great story and acting. You might think it as a low budget independent Leon movie. If you enjoy foreign movies you might like it.
shareI just saw this movie and I must say that it is a really good movie. The ending is one of the best I've ever seen in films. It's better than most of the crap hollywood produces these days. Well worth a watch!

shareIMDb ilk 250 niye bu kadar ciddiye alınıyor ki? Kick-Ass diye bir deli saçması film bile ilk 250'ye girdi. Ayrıca toplu halde Türk filmlerine oy vermek Türk sinemasının saygınlığını ve Türk filmlerine olan ilgiyi de arttırmaz. Yalnızca "Türk ve Hint filmleri yalnızca kendi kalabalık ülkelerinden yüksek oy alıp şişiriliyor" düşüncesini pekiştirir o kadar.
Sinema konusunda ille de bir "toplu hareket" olacaksa başka şeyler yapmalı Türk halkı. Recep İvedik gibi çöplükleri gişe hasılat rekorlarına boğmamak gibi örneğin(!). Boşverelim IMDb'deki gereksiz listeleri.

Movie is full of cliches and below-average acting.
I thought HP:DH2 was the worst movie in Top250 but this takes the cake. Its only a matter of time before it is kicked-out.
HP:DH2 was the worst movie in top 250? I can example you many movies in top 250 worst then HP. There are crappy movies in top 250 only because famous directors' movies. HP is a worldwide pheneomenon and Eşkiya is one of the greatest Turkish movies. Maybe the best one.
But it's your opinion. I cant criticize.I wish you've liked the movie. Sorry for you.

This is the highest grossing, most critically-acclaimed "Pakistani" movie ever. Its got a crazy fan following in Pakistan; fans who insist that this is the best movie ever,which is also evident by its very strong ratings on imdb. Now I am from Pakistan and I should support this Pakistani movie as well but I don't, because frankly Waar(2013),ignoring its crazy fan following in Pakistan, is strictly an OK movie. It stands head-and-shoulders above the other crappy paki movies, but its scope can only climb national ladder.
I dont agree with Waar's rating on imdb. Over-Hyping is becoming a strong issue on imdb. In almost all these overly-hyped movies, the fans are to be blamed. These fans blindly group together due to two reasons:
1. Loyalty to the film-makers earlier movies(e.g. QT's whole career after Pulp Fiction and Nolan's last two movies)
OR
2. National Pride(e.g. bollywood's recent emergence in the Top250 list)
These two reasons compel the fans to over-hype the sh*t out of modest movies.
I watched The Bandit with a lot of hope because our muslim countries seldom generate good cinema (Iran being the exception), but I dont agree with its massive rating on imdb
P.S. I love HP books esp the last one and hate the movies esp the last one.
