Complete trash compared to the original

This movie really should not have been made. The first movie is a fun and dark film. This tried to take on a more humorous and satirical approach and failed. Also what the hell was up with the visual effects? Escape from New York had inventive effects on a 6 million dollar budget. This had a 50 million dollar budget with deplorable effects.
