Juliette Binoche or Kristin Scott Thomas?

In The English Patient who had more screentime?
Who was lead and who was supporting?

Binoche has more screentime, but Thomas is leading in context- she is the woman in the love story.

Kristin is the lead and Juliette is the supporting. I love both actresses although in this movie Kristin was better.

Well, Juliette Binoche won for Best Supporting Actress for The English Patient, so she was considered a "supporting" role, although I think she had a lot more screen time.
