I would imagine there wouldn't be much difference then if they want to Christmas 10 years later then 1 year later. Everybody expect for Elmo and Oscar would be sick and very tired of Christmas every day. With Oscar he hates Christmas, and doesn't have a change of heart of it at all much like Scrooge in a Christmas Carol, and the Grinch in How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I don't know if you have ever seen their previous Christmas feature, Christmas Eve on Sesame Street but in it, Oscar at one point sings the song I hate Christmas. It is an older Christmas special, it is from 1978 I believe I remember seeing here on imdb.com, and I know that it is from the time the actor that played Mr. Hooper Will Lee was still alive at this time, and played Mr. Hooper his character made a few appearances in it.
